The Museum of Modern Art located in New York City is one of the most famous art museums in the world and is a must see when taking in the cultural experience of New York.
Located at 11 West 53rd Street the museum is in the heart of mid-town and accessible from most subway lines especially 59th Street Columbus Circle or Times Square at 42nd Street. The museum is closed on Tuesdays but open every other day from 10:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. During the summer months of July and August the museum stays open until 8:45 p.m. every Thursday and also on September 2nd and October 7th. It's best go early to avoid the crowds and give yourself a lot of time to check out all the interesting artwork, films, and exhibitions they have to offer!
