Walk from Colombus Circle to The Plaza Hotel

Located at the bottom of Central Park at 59th Street and Broadway, Columbus Circle is a major landmark in the big apple. Easily accessible by the 1,2, A, B, C,  and D subways, make sure to give Columbus Circle  a look while you are in New York. The circle boasts premier shopping as well as being the location of the Time Warner Building and the famous Trump International. Just steps away is one of many entrances to Central Park but by far one of the most elaborate.

I'd highly recommend walking east along Central Park South (as depicted by the map below) to see the horse drawn carriages and enjoy the lovely scenery of the park that the park has to offer. For all those Yankee fans out there, be sure to check out Mickey Mantles famous restaurant along the way.

Head towards Central Park South and 5th Avenue. There you'll find the famous Plaza Hotel. Temporary home for celebrities, dignitaries and even the Beatles on their first trip to America, the Plaza defines luxury in New York. The backdrop has appeared in dozens of films and books throughout the years and it is no surprise why. Their Sunday brunch is famous but I'm not sure if it is worth the money. Regardless, it is open to the public so take a peak if you have some time!
